We are looking for a freelance or part-time Junior Brand Identity Designer to join the team remotely (able to work within the hours of 9a-5p PST or AST).

Altus Branding is a boutique brand identity development agency based in the Caribbean and serving clients from all over the world.

We’re looking for an incredible person and strong designer to assist us with our workload. If you are creative designer who enjoys developing brand identity systems and designing marketing materials, then this role will give you the opportunity to work on the creation of new brands and support existing brands.

This is a part-time position of minimum 30 hours per month, with the possibility of working more hours based on the workload. There will also be an opportunity to be promoted to a full-time position.

You’ll work closely together with our Project Manager and our Senior Designers. Initially you will assist the designers with on-going branding projects and all-round design work, before taking on brand identity development projects independently.

Job description

• Assist the team in all-round design projects.
• Collaborate with the team on brand developing visual brand identity systems.
• Develop visual identities, including exploration of a logo that will define a brand and make it look like the market leader.
• Develop and execute brand guidelines.
• Executing brand visual identities across all marketing materials, social media and websites.

Job requirements

• Must be 18 or older
• Based in the PST or AST timezone (or nearby)
• Experience as a Graphic Designer / Brand Developer
• Must be able to manage the flow of projects to ensure on-time delivery with a high level of independence
• Experience with Adobe Programs (Photoshop & Illustrator are a must)
• Creativity and out-of-the-box thinking
• Advanced communication and interpersonal skills
