F. D. Roosevelt Airport is the airport located on the island of Sint Eustatius, Caribbean Netherlands. It was opened as “Golden Rock Airport” in 1946 and renamed for Franklin Delano Roosevelt.
The FDR Airport on the island of Sint Eustatius had recently constructed a brand new airport building. Prior to this, the airport did not have a brand identity and often used the Government logo for branding purposes. When the FDR team reached out to the Altus team, it was clear they needed a new visual identity that would allow to differentiate from Government and uniquely stand out amongst other regional airports.
The Altus Team set out to develop a strong brand identity that encompassed national elements were unique to Sint Eustatius.
